End of May, the beginning of July was busy as well! I attended two conferences – Shift Split which was great as always because by now, these feel like a family reunion!
The other conference was WeAreDevelopers in Berlin, which was. Indescribably huge. The number of people, the number of tracks… It was all so grand and overwhelming. I did manage to attend something really nice tho!
There was a workshop called “The future of digital learning” in which the guys from Codeversity showed their new product. It was quite exciting because of the potential that machine learning, tailored education, and individual preferences bring is amazing. I honestly got giddy during their presentation because it was so inspiring and it gave me a ton of ideas to implement with my students.
The plus side was that the whole platform which they showed in the demo was beautifully done, and what matters the most – it was very functional from the UX side.
I will definitely keep an eye on this product because it just has so much potential!
And of course, I took a picture of the ceiling. That is a thing now!
