Design sprint workshop
March was a very busy month! Despite all the work and running around, I managed to attend the Design sprint workshop.
First of its kind in Croatia, the workshop brought us the methodology of design sprints. Held by Ross Champan, the CEO of Etch sprints and a certified design sprints tutor, the workshop lasted two days.
The idea was to explain and demonstrate how a sprint should function. We were split into teams of 5 to 6 people and pretty much randomized. We got a task and Ross guided us through a series of exercises. I really loved the dynamic of having a random team work together and try to make sense of something that was rather abstract for us all. Luckily for me, my team was amazing and we generated a lot of crazy ideas together! I really enjoyed hanging out with such pleasant people.
All in all, the workshop was great. I got to meet many new people and catch up with some old acquaintances. My key takeaway was mostly learning how Ross handled a full room of varied people. It was insightful and very interesting.
In the end, I got a diploma and took a picture of the ceiling. I really liked it, and a special thanks to my Boss for making it happen for me <3
